Long Drawnout surveys
« on: December 02, 2014, 07:10:08 pm »
I hate doing long drawn out surveys only to not get credit or told I am not qualified. I did one today for 15 minutes before telling me I was not qualified. :o

I am totally with you.  The qualifying questions need to ALL be asked up front.  Don't make me spend 15 minutes doing a stupid survey (and already having my answers) and then ask a qualifying question and then kick me out saying "oh you don't qualify for this survey".

I done one yesterday that I didn't qualify for the original survey but we have found another for you.  I don't usually do those but I done this one.  Took about 20 minutes.  I still have not received credit.  I don't figure I will.  :(   Grrrr

I agree, that is always a downer, you put in the time and then find out you are disqualified, I like it when they tell me up front that I don't fit the demographics; then I can just move on to something else.

I agree with all of you.  Spending time on these surveys and then finding I am not qualified is very irritating.  Why do they do that?

If I have to not qualify I like the ones where I click on the link and it immediately takes me to the page that says "sorry you were disqualified" lol.

Not getting credit really "TAKES THE CAKE," so to speak.  Also, surveys that go on and on asking the same questions in different ways and forms.  I know they are checking for validity and all, but come on...over and over and over...and then those that want you to rate the product like a "personality."  Ever done one of those?  They drive me crazy when those go on page after page.

I do not even attempt any survey on any GPT site that I'm a part of, to me they are a scam.  You attempt one and get nearly half way through it for it to tell you that you don't qualify and you keep trying another and another just to get .50 or $1.00.  Look at the time you have wasted!

Don't have much time for surveys lately but I cannot stand the ones that take you well into the survey before telling you that you don't qualify.  Does that mean they dumped the data you already entered or did you just provide them with a bunch of free info.  I would also agree that the cost to effort ratio for surveys usually seems pretty low.

Those really bug a person, but the ones that really get me are the ones where you are finishing the personal question at the end and then poof it is gone.

Me either. Too many questions about what you like  or dislike about a product. 1 page is enoough. But some ask 3 or more pages about the same product. Too much! Then there are those who give you the same pages of questions about every product you have heard of. Those are the worst.

I know exactly what you mean.  Most of the time I don't qualify for any of them. :-\

I totally agree as I get very upset about spending 10 or 15 minutes answering all kinds of questions and then being told I didn't qualify.  If I don't qualify, tell me right away so I can do something else instead of wasting my time.  I do sometimes wonder if some of these companies get all the answers they want/need and then say you didn't qualify - that way it costs them nothing or 1 cent.
