I heard about Sandboxie on another offer site. They recommended using it for offers that require a download, to keep our computers safe. Does anyone know how it works, and if it really is safe?

Sandboxie is an isolation program that keeps virus, malware, and even legit programs from changing your computer registry. Just think about a sandbox. A box that keeps all the sand away from the floor and keeps everything in the box. The only thing I don't like about sandboxie is that it a hassle turning it on/off when you want to download a legit program (because sandboxie stops almost everything from changing ur comp registry)

The program Bufferzone is almost the same functionality as Sandboxie

Sandboxie does keeps your PC from harm when your doing the Download offers that may or may not contain a virus in it Sandbox just keeps the files you downloaded into a BOX storage where you can easily erase from your PC like it was never there.

I had never heard of this either.  Found it interesting while reading the other comments.  I may check this out since I do a lot of downloading.
Have a wonderful day!
