What is your ideal getaway?

What I mean by this is what is your idea of a getaway, whether romantic, or leaving the house for the weekend, and what place describes this getaway.

My 'ideal' getaway...Bora Bora.  Don't know where it is, I highly recommend looking it up.  Beach paradise with clear water and rooms over the water.

I will be experiencing my ideal getaway in 16 days, 22 hours and 2 minutes.  That is when I board the plane that will take me to Dallas, TX and then board the plane that will take me to Hilo, Hawaii for eight glorious days!

Ideal getaway would be with my guy (and not to be mean our kids would stay with their grandparents lol) and have a nice time in either Hawaii or the Bahamas. Fun in the sun without the kids. Right now our youngest is teething so I would say just a night away from the kids in a nice quiet spot would be ideal right about now.

Staying HOME and not having to deal with any people face to face.

Any island that has beautiful, clean beaches.  Staying in a nice hotel, laying on the beach in the day, going out to a nice dinner at night.  No responsibilities for a week!

I love to go on cruises, they are the perfect get away! I love the Caribbean, my husband actually just finished booking us one for the end of November. I love that man!

My ideal getaway is a cozy cabin in the woods next to a small lake that is great for swimming and fishing. There are many places like this in central and northern Wisconsin.
