Had anybody else seen the movie? It was good, but I didn't like the ending... Left you wondering...

I remember reading the book when I was much younger, and I LOVED IT. So glad it's been adapted into a movie although I haven't seen it yet.
From what I recall the ending of the book was left ambiguous as well, and the author said he meant to leave it up to your imagination whether or not he makes it in a Q&A.  :notworthy:

I like my stories to have an ending.

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm looking forward to it.  I like Jeff Bridges and Meryl Streep.  It looks like an interesting film.

The book had the same ending that makes you wonder if it's true or a memory  Guess the only way we'll know is if a sequel is made.

yes, i saw that movie a long time ago. Of course the ending was a hard one but that is how life is when you give it over to someone else and never think of yourself first.

No, but I remember the book being good (it's been a while) so I hope the movie is too!

I haven't seen the movie. Not sure if I want to either. I heard it wasn't that good and judging from the previews, it looks nothing like what I had in mind when reading the book.
