School & Children
« on: August 19, 2014, 10:53:53 pm »
My children are all adults now so I never know when school is starting.

Do your children go to year-around school?

For those who don't, when will school begin?

Do your children walk or ride the bus?

How do you feel about your children going back to school?

Now that I'm an adult I love seeing kids going back to school.  I also like autumn, seeing the leaves change colors and anticipating some holidays.

Have a great day!

I don't have children going back to school either but my niece teaches and she is going back to school next week. Like you I'm looking forward to fall with all the color changes and crisp air.

I have my youngest starting her Junior year, in my state they do not start school until after Labor day, so she will be going back on September 2.  She will be riding the bus until I am able to get her a car since she is about to get her license soon.  When that happens then I am sure she will say bye bye to the bus forever.

I live in Idaho and my two children (8 and 10) started school last Wednesday. I do look forward to the routine of my kids being in school. We have proper bedtimes, definite homework routines and best of all, I get some me time during the day to shop for groceries, take a bath and mow the lawn. I love my children to pieces but I get so frustrated when they are at home full time.

Our kids are all grown but we have 3 grandkids in town that will start to school next week.  2 start on Monday and 1 on Tuesday.  The 1 starting on Tuesday is actually in a dayschool at church.  I have 2 of the grandkids with me this week for various reasons.  I'll be glad for them to get back to school lol!  My husband and I are retired and the noise level is nerve-racking sometimes.  Love them tremendously but ready for them to get back in the school routine.

I have one special needs daughter who just entered 6th grade - her hours are 6:45 to 2:20. To early to start if ya ask me. I also have a son who just started kindergarten - his hours are 7:45 to 3:20. Both are car riders. I really worry about my special needs daughter now that she is in middle school and special needs. I worry about bullying. Some kids can just be cruel.

My son starts school on Monday. He will be in first grade. We live too close for him to ride the bus so we will be walking again this year. He is excited to start, and I hope his excitement lasts past the first week.

My son will start the 6th grade on Monday. From Aug to June is when my son attends school. I am glad he has his transfer to new school because that Principal and some of the teachers at his old school was a big headache. I hope this school will bring my son joy with out all the bad things that happen to him at his old school. :)
