I guess people like the adrenaline rush of being scared.I'm not really a big fan of the "modern" horror movie, but I do like the Universal Classics from yesteryear.

Google JediJohnnie and May the Force be with you!

Suspense mostly, I love horror movies. Problem is they rarely make any good ones. The last one to genuinely creep me out was Insidious. I prefer suspense over the gore of some movies but that's not to say that gory movies aren't good. Like I just recently got 30 Days of Night.

I only like a few of them. If there is a great storyline. The suspense and the guessing part is what I like most about some of them. I do not like the cliff hangers that leads you to the next season and the next. For example, I used to like The Walking Dead but now it's like a joke.

I do not like them at all either.  However, my boyfriend loves them and I guess there is some kind of rush from that feeling of fear and suspense.  I don't know.  I don't get it.  I would much rather sit down and just watch a good half hour tv sit com, I guess.

I have only seen a few in my life and can honestly say that I hate them with the exception of `Christene'. When I saw the original release of `Night of the Living dead' I was a councelor at a day camp and we were having a sleep over for the older Kids so we were locked on the grounds and they showed it. Lets just say I spent half of the night in the bathroom with my girls while it was on.

i love them and have watched them since i was really young probably four or five.  i think its the fact that you can feel secure/safe even though you know you are going to get the thrill of the scare.

I love them because they are very entertaining. I like edgy. Although I haven't seen a movie that scared me at all. The only one that came close is 1408.
