Surveys
« on: June 25, 2014, 07:35:32 am »
Has anyone else had a survey where it asked for your child to participate?  It irritates me when I get one of those and call my child to the computer and they are asked ONE question and it kicks them out and says "oh sorry you do not qualify".  All of the questions that determine that should be asked before asking the child to participate.

It isn't putting their info out there.  I watch them do the survey.  My daughter done one.  It was just asking her opinion on different toys and what she thought about them.  It just seems stupid to ask me male/female, age, race, and basic info and then ask him the same thing and he answers the same way and it says oh you do not qualify.

That happened to me a couple of times. So now I don"t even both telling my child to come to the computer. It is just a waste of time.

Same, usually I just answer as I would when I was a kid.

I think we need to be wary when answering all the survey questions.  I haven't had one ask for my child - probably because I am beyond the child rearing age - but I don't think I would bring my child into the survey area.

OMG, this has happened to me on several occasions.   It especially irks my 13 year old when I disturb her from her life & she gets disqualified, she doesn't mind doing them if she is able.   My younger sons enjoy them, mostly they are about toys or cartoons.    I avoid them now as well, I wish they would disqualify prior to me disturbing them, they take it hard when they get rejected "disqualified", kids are fragile like that.

I've never had that happen.  Once I get to that point in the survey I've always been able to finish!  I don't mind letting my kids do surveys.  I usually just ask the questions and let them answer.  It's super easy and is never anything that I would worry about.

I have two son's, 8 and 10 and frequently they are asked to complete a survey. I don't mind my children completing the surveys but I always watch over their shoulder to make sure nothing is being asked that I don't want them answering. My youngest son once started a survey and two questions in, the survey said he did not qualify and booted him out. My son got very sad and asked me if he'd failed. I felt real bad for him.

aflyingmonkey - I know.  And what made me mad is it asked two questions sex and age and then said NOPE.  And I am like but that is what I just answered.  He answered the exact same way.  Gee Whiz.

Penwoir - I know.  I get ticked myself when I do it for a long time and then get kicked out.  My girl was able to complete one the other day.  Yay.

I told my son not to worry.  They don't want MY opinion either a lot of times. lol

Well I don't have anything to worry about as my children are deceased and would have been way to old anyway. Too bad I can't use my nieces, nephews and so on as I have a lot.  I usually get 1-2 surveys most days. If not then I watch videos and do paid to click.

Wow that is annoying.  Sometimes you can tell what the survey wants/is looking for, so I change my answers accordingly.

I'm a member of one site that seems to have more surveys geared towards children than me. If my cousins are over I'll let them do them. It's usually just watching videos or about toys
