Do icy hot work good on back pains and if so how often should i used it?

Of course there is disagreement on that point as with all points. Lots of chiropractors use Icy Hot for their patients.

If you buy it, just read the directions on the package. I have a friend who can't stand to use it because he says it burns his skin. 

If you have sore muscles, have you tried soaking in a hot bath with Epsom Salts? It works really well. And it is gentle to your skin.

I think there is something like this that actually works for my mom and her other daughter.. I think it's called Unker's .. As for icy hot i have never tried it exept once and all i felt was cool then burning XD and boy did it sting for a while O_O ouchyyyy

Icy Hot has worked for me in the past for back pain. It is some pretty strong stuff on the skin, but it penetrates deep into the muscles and does soothe the pain.

It has worked for me and for my family, we all like it and helps us tremendously, but it is not for everyone

It tells on the package how often to use it.  I do not like the patches.  They start out cold.  I do not like anything cold put on me.  I like the Therma Care Heat Patches myself.

i also never have had much luck with icy hot --it just doesnt help with my pain level at all--bio freeze is better in my opinion

I got in a wreck a few years ago,I mix icey hot and lidocain togather,works pretty good.. For deep pain try a good hot EPSON salt soak in the tub.
