My dad has always called me bug. I don't know where it comes from or how he came up with it though. And my grandpa used to call me skadittlehopper. Don't know how he came up with that one either.

I never had a nickname. The closest I have come to having one in my internet user name.

My nickname is Tina.  People I went to school with added my middle name to my nickname, and still do so today.  My daughter's nickname is Rose.  My granddaughter's nicknames are A. J. and Niya.  Because my nephew's nickname is Junebugg, my daughter gave the nickname "Dootiebug" to my grandson.  We call him "Dootie".

I did although it is not much of a nickname and it changed after I went to college.  My nickname as a child was binnie because my cousin could not pronounce my real name.  Laterr, in college, I became foxy noxy.  Now I just go by my real name.  I think this means I've no close friends remaining.
