Scary movies

It's not blood and gore at all, but one of my favorites is a black and white movie called Carnival of Souls. You kind of have to use your brain on that one, in my opinion, because it's not very clear-cut, but it's very interesting. There's so many horror movies out there, though, and so little that are actually terrifying, except for the classics, which you've probably already seen. The Conjuring did scare me, though.  Foreign films are normally a good bet, such as Ringu.

My favorites are From Beyond, Re-animator, The Shining, and anything with Vincent Price in it.

Saw was pretty scary.  I think the witches in the wizard of oz are scary beyond belief and the flying monkeys.  I also find The Lord of the Rings series to be scary and believable in their realness.   Anything can scare me when I'm up watching tv alone...but most scary movies are just gore.  Have a great week all...

Me either.  I don't like being scared or having bad dreams.  Or having bad stuff in my head. lol

I don't like scary movies....they, well , they scare me.
I dont like worrying about things under my bed at night.

I have heard Insidious, Sinister, & The Purge are all good newer scary movies.

I too don't watch scary movies, but I did here that the Conjuring was really good.

I watched scary movies with my hubby because he liked them but now that he is gone I just can't get into them so sorry no help here - I am currently into and have always liked animated movies.  My sons and I just watched "The Croods" and it was cute.
