Downton Abbey Ad
« on: January 03, 2014, 11:32:33 am »
Today while listening to loyalty radio, a video ad for Downton Abbey popped up on my screen.  I guess that's not all that unusual except that I just spent the last couple of days having a Downton Abbey marathon.  We got Season 1 on video last Christmas and fell in love with the series, but didn't get Season 2 and 3 until this Christmas.  During the New Year's holidays, we started watching the new videos and even introduced them to other family members.  Then the next day, I have an ad on Loyalty Radio for Downton Abbey.  It's a little scary, like the ad people were reading my mind and knew exactly what I would be interested in.

I notice that anything I search for there is an ad on whatever pages I visit for those items or sites! I don't like that google does this, I think it's them. I feel like I am being watched!

In Idaho we had the newest season of Downton Abbey start last Sunday, 5th January, on PBS at around 9pm. It looks like it will be a very promising series. I have watched it since the very first episode. My sister watches it in the UK and for her, the whole season finished by Christmas so she already knows what's happened. I like to ask her about little bits and pieces but I don't like to know too much in case I ruin it for myself. I am British so this particularly appeals to me. Jolly Good Show eh!
