Is Jesus Saying that Division from Family Is the Way Christians HAVE TO Go?

It seems to be what Lord Jesus is saying: that all outsiders are invited in, and all insiders are thenceforth BANNED from the Kingdom of Heaven. Or--down to Earth--if my father was an accountant, I HAVE to be 'something totally opposite to that' & then become an accountant after having seen 'The Dark Side of the Industry' 

That sounds a little illogical, but it fits right in with 'the path of a Buddha:' he starts as an 'insider,' he is-cast-out/decides-to-leave, he denies-denies-denies until he is an 'outsider,' & thus he is invited back inward.

That's why many of the 'heirs to fortunes' end up too weak to HANDLE the fortune: because they do not fully-appreciate the worth of their wealth until they have to BUILD IT THEMSELVES!
