I say the best way to battle a mouse now and forever is to get a cat (that's if you can).

Your cat will catch eventually.

Yikes! I would be scared of seeing a mouse. They can be hard to catch because they are so fast. I am sure you will be able to catch it eventually. I am pretty sure my dogs would be chasing that thing around the house.

Do not worry, the cat will eventually have him for dinner, one day. The mouse must come out for food, soon.

Living in a wooded area, I get mice all the time. I have 3 cats. My outside cat is better at catching them and she actually eats their head but leaves the rest at my door step.
The 2 inside cats will chase them and kill them but they don't eat them.

A mouse comes in your house mostly looking for food or a place to have babies. I hope your cat gets it before it does have any babies. Good luck in catching that mouse.
