I start to think about getting ink when the warning first comes on, my seems to go for quite a while after that.....and I don't want to waste a drop.    I do some legal work, on that I have  to make sure that it looks good. :star: :star: :star:

I go buy it when I get warnings, but I don't replace it till it's fading out.

idk
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

I wait until I can't see the type on paper when I print out info.  Ink cartridges are too expensive to take notice when I see a flashing light telling me that ink is low.  You still have plenty of ink left.  The blinking light for me is a suggestion only.

I try to get the most of my ink, so I wait until the ink fades away then I change it. Sometimes it's just a warning you don't have to change it right then and there, It's ok to wait.

Unfortunately my EPSON automatically stops printing when ink is critically low. They force me to change it even though there is still some ink left in the cartridge. It sucks because I know there's ink in there (it shows on my screen).

Guess that's how EPSON printers work... good thing I buy the non-OEM inks because otherwise I would be broke.

I wait until it doesn't print anymore that is when I go buy a new cartridge. Like many of you said it is money and I don't believe in wasting money. I am a penny pincher and my husband would tell you that too. If I could save even a penny I do so because after a hundred times it becomes a dollar.
