New year is coming quick

The new year is coming quick. We will be setting new goals in another
Two months. My goals are the same every year: loss weight and get out of debt.

Those are the same 2 goals that i have along with great health for me and my family/friends.

I know can you believe it. I mean don't blink because this year went by way to fast. I must say though i'm glad it is coming to an end and I pray 14 will be much better!!

Yes 2014 is coming so quick, seems to me this summer goes so quickly, maybe because it was a mild summer, it was never been so hot this summer.

I don't set goals for new years.  To me people just do it for show and they aren't really serious about them.  Kind of defeats the purpose in my mind.

Yeah...this year time seems to go by more quickly. I dont really have any resolutions. I tried it a it a couple times a few years ago.  But I always seem to forget about it within the week.

All are admirable goals! The goal gurus typically tell you to be more specific when setting goals. For instance...the weight thing.  Is it weight that you want to lose or do you want to be more trim? Having more toned muscles might look nicer but tone equals muscle which equals more weight.  If you want to lose weight then specific dates for achieving certain weight loss goals. I want to lose three pounds by January thirtieth would be a doable goal. Then figure out how you are going to do it. Keepin calorie consumpion below fifteen hundred calories and doing thirty minutes worth of cardiovascular workouts five days a week would accomplish this goal quite easily.
