Phishing on tasks warning

I noticed the warning, but did not think it would apply to a simply search. However, when attempting to do a task using a search on war planes to see if the website page was valid, I got the pop-up asking me to update a new version of Internet Explorer. I already have that version, so I did not complete the search. Of course the next search word popped up with the dame request to download a new version"10" of IE. NO pennies for tasks today. Can you fiz these problems?

I too saw this i wish it was alot sooner that they posted it.. But it was after i already tried this task.. I noticed it was a code task.. and i was thinking well were is the code? So i downloaded the thing i didn't let it install because i was very nervous of what could happen.. Nothing happened so i reported the task and did another one.. I would never have dreamed to wake up the next morning with a warning sign about the same task i did before.. but at least it was there for people to read  so they would know the information.. I am so glad i didn't really install whatever i downloaded.. I will further look for more tasks like that to report because i am afraid of things like this and what it would do to my computer.. Thanks for this post it is good to be aware of things and to spread the information!

I rarely download anything whether on FC or crowdflower, but if I do, I have a backup program that fully restores my comp to pre-download condition.. it has saved me a few times in the past

This is a Crowdflower issue, not FC. Submit a ticket to CF on the task page, they will issue you a credit for the time spent AND fix the issue. Their new help system is awesome.
