  what inside temperature do you consider normal for the cold days? I say, 76 degrees. What do you say?

I like my house to be about 68 degree's.  But everyone is different.  I think older people like it warmer than younger adults.  I am 42 but I use to take care of the elderly and they like it pretty warm.  I would rather have a cheaper electric bill myself so we only heat where water is like kitchen and bathroom.  And we turn on the heat if we are cold in the room we are in.

for me cold is 50 for warm 65 - 70 is perfect  and for hot 78 and above but I prefer the cold im really sensitive to the heat since I grew up in alaska most of my life before I moved back to the eastern states

I think if the weather stayed in the 70's all year round without humidity that would be the perfect weather.

my husband always complains but i prefer the house not to be over 67 but he will typically try to hike it up to at least 70 trust me i always find out me and my 12 month old are really warm blooded and obviously my husband is not before we moved to the one story house he used to crank the therm clear up to 78 because we had a house that had been built in 1895 and was horrible at heating the upstairs where the bedrooms were.  what an ungodly heating bill that used to be.

Since I'm on a tight budget, I try to keep it about 66 days and 60 at night.  I actually sleep better when it's cool, than hot.  All visitors say house is cold, so I try to turn it up for them.

honey i am in texas and here.. you take what you can get and you don't throw a fit... You can't really consider the cold.. because we don't get it long enough.. Because it's mostly hot.. I sleep with a fan all night and the tempature of the house is on 71.. Cold to me  i have never really considered it.. Although there are times it can get nippy. I don't really think i am cold.. meh.. Maybe it's just me :p

i'd say 72 degrees for me,  thats comfortable for me. not too hot or too cold.

I have no control over the thermostat in my building but I would prefer it to be 70 degrees.

65-75 degrees is normal for Georgia this time of year. Anything higher than that will make home a little bit uncomfortable.

definitely a personal preference - everyone's thermostat is different - for me -  not too hot - no higher than 75 - can live with 72 though - year round is good!
