what would u talk about on the first date. My just died a little time a go. and I have to start dating a gen after 40 years of mergers.I don't like not having some one to love on and be loved back.I don't real know how to talk  with out making some mistake of o fined them.

Have you taken any fun trips recently or done anything interesting with friends like go on a day trip somewhere? Or how about hobbies you have? Food is always a good topic. You could start talking about interesting meals you've made or had in a restaurant recently. Some people have relatives (kids, kids of kids, cousins, in-laws) that have done some interesting things you might want to talk about. Or how about TV shows or movies you like? Books are good topics too if you've read any recently.

Ugh. I have only been in a handful of relationships, all years or longer. Recently being single again I have gone on a few dates. It's all very awkward, especially when your ex comes up because you're a single parent.
