Did you go to any dances when you were in high school?

We only had about 1 dance each school year. I went to 1 once & it was OK. Nothing too special.

Went to the 80's dance.TikiTiki Torch dance,and prom during my senior year in high school.

I did go to school dances when I was in high school.  That was way back in the 50's.  We had the twist then and it was not hard to learn.  Hope everyone has a wonderful day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

Yes, I was a dancing freak when I was younger.  It started when I went to a dance in Junior High School.  Then I went to church dances, High School Dances and I spent a couple of nights every week in a Disco (I was dancing in the 70s).  In High School I went to the Prom and I went to a Girls Pref. where I borrowed my parents car so I could drive.

My only regret was that I stopped dancing after I got married because my husband wasn't into it like I was.  The good news is that I'm now single again and I now have the opportunity to "replay" that dancing phase, again.

I did the big ones like Homecoming and Prom only because it was fun to buy and dress and get all dolled up!

I only went to one of my high school dances and that was the home coming dance in tenth grade. I didn't go to either of my proms. And it wasn't cause I couldn't dance. I could. I spent my weekends in the teen lounge. There I could be who I really was. My school was very `stuffy' and filled with mostly rich kids who thought those of us who weren't upper middle class or better weren't worth their time.

 i went to all of my dances and proms and they all were good and alot of fun and food and everyone
enjoy themselves.

I usually went with friends.  I danced...had some fun.  But dances weren't really my scene.

My brother and I were home schooled so no we never went to any dances or any other school type functions.  I don't know at this point if that was good or bad.
