No, I have been retired for many years and so have not recently lost a job. But it sure seems like the skills you learned this summer are marketable to some family looking for full-day childcare for their children. I hope you find something else soon.

There may be a need for afterschool sitter.  Most people work until, at least, 5pm and school is normally out at 3.
