The way the memoral was so down played & how everyone just seem to say we're not even close to the dream & all this negative message that what we have now, isn't good enough! The President not trying top up stage the King was depressing to me. He should have been bragging or rejoicing his position b/c Obama is the "Posture Child," of what the dream is!All this talk about not Judging anyone treating each other according to what they do & not by the color of their skin is BS! King wanted his fellow man to come together black & white & live together as equals. It's an insult to refer President Obama as the first African American to be President because Obama was born to a white mother & a black father. Just because the white half of him didn't surface doesn't make him all black! This is about erasing "color" in this country to the point in which we only see the person & the character he/she represents.Until we get rid of the labels of race,color,creed,sexuality,...the dream will never be complete;if we can't let it go!Petting ourselves on the back for what we've accomplished so far, is not a sin either. We have the right to rejoice the good things we, as a people have accomplished since the dark days 50 yrs ago. When President Obama referred himself as a Mutt in the beginning that's when he became my President, after all, I'm a mutt, 90% of members of my family are mutts, I have 4 beautiful nieces who are mutts. ;D
