Lots of work to paint.  What takes the most time is prepping - covering the floor, taping around the edges so you don't paint the fixtures. BTW, you doing all by yourself? Or go help? What color are you painting it?

Painting really brightens up a room, good luck with your painting.  What colors are you doing?

Good for you, It is nice to paint your house instead of paying someone else to do it.

Painting is a big job but so rewarding in the end. It is unbelievable how much of a difference a coat of paint can make.

I just picked up some paint this weekend to paint my basement.  My father's coming to help patch drywall that was cut out when my basement flooded in the Spring.  I'll probably be ready to paint in a few weeks.  Still looking to get a good extendable handle for the roller.

I'm bugging my husband to paint the living room. I used to do it but my knees are too bad.
