Long distance relationships
« on: July 07, 2013, 11:45:10 am »

I will make mine work.

It'll be hard because mine is still such a new relationship, but the Trust is there.

I wouldn't be so fast to trust him.  First of all, you cannot guarantee what he is doing because you are nowhere near him, and he can't make the same guarantee about you.  You and he are in long-distance relationships?  Actually, you think you know him?  Are you sure of that?  You can know people forever but, until you spend time with them do you discover how much you don't know about him.  Nobody would have told me that the man I was truly in love with would have cheated on me.  I take that back.  He was the kind that would like one woman and, when she was not interested in him, he would take the oldest woman alive to say yes to.  He told me that "a man has needs".  I had needs too, but I waited to act on them.  The last I heard, he was with a 58 year old (she is more than likely 62 now; he is 57), and he figured I would share him with her.  I told him I wasn't sharing him with her.  I was talked into remaining in Mississippi by my husband, who was then my boyfriend.  He was 49 and I was nearing 51.  He is now 53 and I am nearing 55.  So I had the last laugh.  His brother married a woman 10 years his senior, had a baby with another woman, and she finally got tired of him.  Take it from someone who knows; make sure that is what you want. ??? :o ???

Unfortunately in these past few hours out status has just changed.

Bummer right -___- But i understand him and why. I'll post about it soon.

Sad yes, but we both are.

I tried that once but what a disaster. I went from one bad relationship to another.  :BangHead:

I have tried the long distance thing in the past. Never worked.

Being apart from each other is a very difficult thing to do...

I agree with everyone.

It is DIFFICULT.

But, it's worth a shot.
