high prices
« on: June 11, 2013, 06:31:46 am »
some things are worth the price.
*****************
Does a high price scare you away from buying something....even if you have a REAL need for that item?
Would you try and git it in your budget?
********************
I discovered the "Biomat" which uses the power of Amethysts and infrared heat rays - I was made aware of it a few months ago recommended by a notable doctor and public speaker. I thought it would be great and very helpful if I bought it and at the same time, dismissed it the first time. The other day, I saw another story about it and thought about it a second time. I decided to fit it  in October's budget.

What I do for high-priced tings is first look for coupons or whatever and if none and I can wait I'll wait for the price to decline and if I need it right away I would just buy it

I have to consider prices because my husband gets SSI and I don't have an income because I can't work I receive a nurse at home and a care giver to help with my house and bathing and Social Security says I am not disabled enough, so I have to consider prices weather or not I need it.

I wouldn't let the fact that its high prices deter me - the only thing that deters me is not having the money period.  I can't "fit" anything into my budget because it is barely covering the basic necessities  :dontknow:

High prices definitely deter me! If it is something I really need, I shop around for the lowest price, look for coupons, and try to earn a gift card or some money online to cover the cost.

There are times when high prices scare even me, but most times I find a way around it.  I will put the item on layaway and pay it off over time.   I see no reason why people should be scared of high prices, when they can save the money and purchase the item.  My husband likes Stacy Adams shoes, and will shop like a bargain is under his nose until he finds the price he wants to pay.  I want an iPad or a tablet with built-in Wi-Fi.  I know I don't have the money to buy one, but I can sign up with a online chain and work diligently until I get that item.  I would rather work to get an item; that way I can enjoy it that much more.

I will generally wait for the item to go on "sale" or "clearance" and if I can't wait then I will try to find it somewhere else for less money.

I always stay on budget....even if i really need or want it i try to find it cheaper else where. The way the economy is cant really afford to go over a budget. Maybe once in a while i will if there is extra income, other than that i say No!
