Even if he believed whatever anti-tax advisor was telling him [that he wasn't required to pay,no such law whatever]
you would think he would have not just ran with it cause it sounded good to him. Doublecheck you know-
if it was really that easy everybody would do it dontcha think?
so not only does he owe that money plus penalties and intrest he also lost years of his freedom
smh
dumb move Wesley

LOL... any of you in here parroting the mantra, "... should pay his taxes", PLEASE cite me the statute, code,or  "law" anywhere that says a private sector man or woman owes any "income tax"! You can't because you've all been had!
The IRS is scam.

I give Snipes props for standing up to the scam... as well as Joe Banister, Sherry Jackson (Peel), Tommy Cryer (RIP), and all those who have stood up and demanded that the IRS SHOWS THEM THE LAW!

Actually, the law that requires an individual to pay income taxes is established under Title 26 of the U.S. Code. Snipes broke the law, and he went to jail.

Name the section and sub-section. Let's go through the code....

There is a group that was (is) offering $50k reward to anyone that could show the law that made the average private sector man or woman (non-federal employee, not living in D.C. or any of the territories) liable for an income tax.

That reward was never claimed.

Section 1. It's all there if you really want to educate yourself.

Anything citing Joe Banister should be laughed at. The guy is a scam artist, and the people who listen to him are the true saps.

I knew that he was in prison but I did not know that he was released. As a matter of fact I have no idea what he was in prison for.

Did you know the Wesley Snipes was in prison and just released. :angry7:

First of all this topic belongs in the "Off Topic" forum just for a future note because it is not related to Fusion Cash unless you were trying to relate Wesley Snipes evading taxes and what would happen if you earn a lot from Fusion Cash and evade taxes you could end up like he did.  lol

Yes he was put in awhile ago because of Tax Evasion and it's stupid that people who have a lot of money from making movies or doing whatever else think they are better than the rest of us and don't have to pay taxes.  It's more often than not people that have a lot of money who are evading taxes than people who have very little money so it doesn't make any sense at all.  If anything you'd think it'd be the other way around because the people who are struggling I could see it being harder for them to pay taxes but even then the IRS will work with you and set up payment arrangements that works for you because I've done it before when I owed like $1500 in taxes they set up payment arrangements for me and I eventually paid it off.  People like Wesley Snipes you have to ignore the good movies he's been in when in this situation because it's basically him saying, "I thought I was better than the system and didn't have to pay taxes."  I don't care how big of a star you are or how much money you have if you live in this country or make your living in this country you have to pay your taxes regardless.
