I wish, I'd sent my Husband to hospice but it seems like it's a big taboo when the doctor suggested hospice in my State. Hospice means, it's the end of the road & time to accept your up coming death! Instead, they sent him to a rehab. place that had changed names several times where his grandma died, his mom died, & where he died! @hospice, he would have been comfortable & the ending would have been less shocking for both of us. RIP Harry2009.... :sad1: :'(

I have had friends and family in Hospice.  I also have a friend who is a hospice RN.  These are wonderful people who make a terrible situation a little less hard.  Thank God for anyone who works for hospice.

I know a few people that had hospice. They are sent from heaven, for sure. They treat people with dignity and respect and their families as well.
