That show is still on? It has lost its luster over the last few years. With shows like the Xfactor and The voice coming on the scene!

Great for her!  I couldn't even watch the show this year because of that Nikki chick.  She drove me nuts everytime she spoke!  I've switched to the Voice.  It has been good so far.

I like American Idol.  Unfortunately, for them they chose the wrong judge:  Nicki Minaj.  She made the show a hot mess and has the nerve to make comments about Mariah Carey.  They got rid of Randy Jackson too; that's unfortunate. I am glad for Candice, but I am glad Nicki is gone!

I didn't follow American Idol this year.  It seems like I go in phases.  Every 3 or 4 years I keep up with it.  After sticking with a full season I get bored with it.  However my daughter and I were just talking the other day about Phil Phillips...since his one big hit that came out right after he won...what else has he done?  I hope he's staying healthy.

I think this year they had a hard choice because all of the girls where very good.  I too did not like Nikki.  I hate that Randy Jackson will not be returning as a judge.  He was the last original judge.

Even though we had a girl from Oliver Springs, TN, I didn't watch it. I believe she was let go a few weeks back. The show seems to have lost its desire over the past few years. It has been several years that I even watched it. I heard that all the judges weren't returning. A rumor was going around that the producers had fired them. Don't know if that is true or not. I hope they get judges that won't fight or cause problems and finally give the contestants a chance.

I did not watch it this year. I liked keith Urban and randy but i tell you that nikkie was the worst person  they could have put on their, Beyone was alright. If i had wanted to watch a fake barbe doll it would not have been Nikki. She seemed to always be playing with her hair and into herslef and could not get an intellenge word out of her mouth. Runied the show for me.
