It could be a dietary issue, couple with a digestive issue. I have three dogs, and one of them has gas far more often than any of the dogs I've ever had in my life. His farts, more often than not, smell just awful. At those times, I can't remember ever smelling a fart THAT bad. When we first got him, he was quite gassy but he's not so much compared to then. Usually, when he's having a "gas attack" I let him go outside and he usually ends up pooping, then the gassyness generally subsides.

Can't you express their *bleep* glands.  It would release the smell to one time as opposed to lots of little times.

No dogs. I have 3 cats... and yes they do greet me at the door when I come home, dog people always say cats don't do that. :)

I have a small mix York mixed in with Chihuahua. He has never done that, so I'm sorry I can't help you with your problem, but I see a lot of good answers for you. I hope one of them work.  ;)

We have a peek-a-poo. She is 5 years old. She is one of the best dogs we have ever had.
