I think North Korea keeps making this kind of noise so that they will not be ignored and will be taken more seriously.  This kind of saber-rattling is a pattern for them.

I think that they should have been dealt with by the previous administration but Mr. Bush felt it was more important to wage war for supposed weapons of mass destruction.  Mr. Bush spent so much on this war, spread our country out so thin, and didn't have interest in a country that wouldn't have potential for filling our oil coiffures that he neglected the korean mess.  Now, unfortunately, the mess hasn't gone away and we have a peace loving president.  I believe we will hold back until the North Koreans make a move and we will destroy them.  I don't think China will raise a finger if North Korea keeps going at the pace that they are going. I think we are wise to hold back because of reparations that may have to be made after we destroy them.

The Bible, Nostradamus...yada yada.  It can all be construed about any way you like.  People have been contemplating the end of the world ever since it began.  It'll end when it ends.  and for the record - I agree with dauna.  It would be very stupid for the US to make a move or even a statement on North Korea at this point.  Let China handle them.  They're doing fine so far.

For many years there have been wars and rumors of wars.  I believe that no man knows when the world (as we know it) will end.  I do know that with each passing day we are one day closer to Christ returning.  There are also other signs in the Bible which tell us that the end of the world is near.  Personally, I believe that all we can do is be ready.  I believe that for all of us there will be an end....either an end of our lives or an end of the world.  In regards to what is going on with North Korea though I would tend to agree with dauna.

To me they have always been dangerous due to the leaders that they have.  With this new, young ruler though there are some unknowns.  Who really knows what he is thinking or what he is willing to do.  I think that he likes the attention that he is getting and wants more.

That issue along with other moral and ethical issues that plague our world are the fulfillment of the Biblical Prophecies.  I can't see how the Lord Jesus will delay much longer.
Have a wonderful day!
