Anyone know something about cars & headlights?

Last week of FEB. it was storming really bad & on the road the car behind me kept on flashing his lights. I'm thinking what now, i can barely see the road in front of me & this jerk is trying to get me into a car accident! Then it dawned on me could my head lights be off. I fiddled around with the headlight switches pushed to high beam. Eureka the road on my right side lit up!

After this week, it'll be 2months & I've haven't gotten it fixed yet. Main reason, I don't where to get it fix & not be scammed or over charged in the process. Wondering, if it is possible for me to buy a new headlight & do it myself. Should I replaced both with new headlights instead of getting it a new 1 for the headlight that went out? Also, what kind of beams should I get? I don't like those "Blue," headlight beams cuz they hurt my eyes & don't want to subject others from the same pain I go through. Is there other types of headlight that's earth friendly & won't subject you into blinding pain when flashed at you?  I'm just clueless in this subject area.

Your nearest auto parts place can help you find the right part for your car. You will need year, make and model of your car. Auto zone or napa or pep boys will be able to help you. I just changed my blinker bulb and was able to get right bulb with a little help.

^^That pretty much covers it. However, if you are wanting to replace the whole thing and NOT just the light bulb that went out then speaking with someone at a place like that would also be a good idea because they'll probably be able to make suggestions and help you find what would work best for your car.
