In my first month I loss 25 lbs , you must set a plan that works for you that you will stick ,too.
Keep in mind staying healthy still means to eat and not skip meals ,daily habits . Must have meals that are nutritious and cant the daily protein you will need.
Drink plenty of water ,and I do walk daily .... ;)

I was shocked when I started reading labels, now I read them all the time and measure or weigh everything. No more guess work.

Oh man i have too read everything, Mt dad is diabetic and has had severe gout. It has been rough this past 2 monts planning out all of his menus and then cooking them, then on top of the other 2 problems his knee hurt him so bad he couldn't walk on it without a walker. Took him to a sp. and  the dr. drained out two viles of crap rom his leg and then filled it with meds. Dad went in with a walker and wheelchair for transport to walking out on his own.Hasn't stopped yet, Amazing.O course i have to keep him on his diet for another 3-4 months, but everything is ok now. sugar down where it needs to be gout is clearing up. Since i have him on a diet, hubby and i eat the same thing and we are doing better also.

Anyone need a healthy alternative to chips?  A co-worker told me to try replacing chips with "sea snax", and that they are actually healthy for you and much less sodium, calories and fat.  I just ordered some this past week and they are a little wierd at first to get used to.  Second try I broke them up in bowl like chips and even my dog was munching on them (the olive oil & sea salt ones).  Day 3 I went back to my chips...and felt so yucky afterward that I prefer the sea snax now.  Their website says they are strangely addictive...it's true!  You can find their site by putting seasnax in your search bar.  Enjoy.
