For positive reinforcement, watch an exercise session on TV.  Look through swim suit catalog sections and find a model who has the same facial structure as you do and post that picture in a prominent place (or cut out your face from a photo & paste on the body of a bathing suit that you like).  As an aversion therapy motivator, post a picture of yourself in a swim suit next to the other one.  Good luck!

"Lose it" is a nice app for calorie counting. I used it for awhile when I started to lose weight. It kept me from overdoing my portions and helped on the go for making sure I didn't overdo it at fast food restaurants.

I use Weight Watchers Online and workout on the treadmill and stationery bike. WW is 18.95 a month.  Its actually a committment to eating right.  I lost 25 pounds on it and continue with it because it keeps me aware of what I eat.

Take progress pictures in a bikini, find a new activity you like for exercise, find friends that have similar goals to workout together, use a website/app to track nutrition and exercise , look at fitness magazines/sites. There are really so many options. If you find exercise you enjoy and healthier foods you like you will be more successful than if you force yourself on some diet and exercise program you hate

Yes Lose It is awesome!! and you can also see how many calories different exercises will burn so it motivates you to go do those exercises. They have calorie amounts for most foods you can think of; grocerie, restaurant, and even a built in scanner so you can scan the bar codes of whatever youre eating. so theres no excuse to not keep track. its really helpful (:

I would suggest incorporating some exercise into that plan. I'm currently doing the Insanity series by Beach Body and it is INTENSE cardio. There is also a meal plan that you can follow that comes with it. Even if you only did 3 of the 6 exercises a week I still feel you'd see good results quick.
