I will not go to a restaurant to eat anything BBQ, but I will eat it at home.   I know at home I do not have to eat like a lady.

I am a fan of BBQ too. It's a delicious thing to eat. I haven't had any in a such a long time though. I need to cook some real soon. Now that I'm thinking about it I'm getting really hungry!  :P

My hometown was Kansas City, so I grew up with BBQ all around.  There has always been a debate over who has the best BBQ in KC.  Some say Arthur Bryant.  Some prefer Gates.  Others like Zarda, etc...  I really like a place called The Smokehouse.

Oh man your post made me hungry for bbq.  I don't especially like any of the three bbq restaurants in my area - its ok but nothing outstanding.  One of them does have a good pulled pork sandwich.  I wish I wasn't so far out in the country and all the restaurants didn't close in 25 minutes lol. But then I'm going out with family for chinese saturday so that is yummy too.

But does anyone know of any great bbq spots in Cali? Or your favorite in general?
 :)

Yes! I would recommend Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ. I made myself hungry just thinking about it ;D

I have had real southern BBQ, as I have visited the south.  I love cooking and can replicate most recipes I come across.  (I do most of our cooking from scratch.)

My husband is from Texas and he can make amazing BBQ.  My favorite sauces, though, are sweet spicy Asian sauces as I love ginger and garlic.

I can not wait until the summer time to have some barbecue. Logos sausages are the best for bbq.
