I am not a soda drinker but from what I hear those machines can save you money. I was wondering if the taste would compare to what you are used to though.

If you just like soda water, or soda water with a blueberres in it to taste it or strawberries it might be ok. I dont think they make good cokes.

We got one recently. It works pretty well but doesn't quite carbonate as much as I would like. I'm a coke freak and the Sodastream cola flavors aren't that good. The natural cola with cane sugar tastes better.  You can buy coca cola syrup on eBay. It comes in big 2.5 gallon bags. I'm considering that.  I need to play with it more. My daughter likes the lemonade quite a bit.
