Thus I'd definitely take the $1-Million.

If your question, however, was to start with 1 penny and double the amount of the previous day for each of 30-days, then I'd go with that option instead... 2^29 (29 instead of 30 because 2^0=1, which is what we're starting with on day 1) = ~$2.7-Million
