have you ever been so down on your luck that you had no place to live, and couldn't get a job, then seemingly everyone you thought was your friend showed their true colors?

no thankfully i have not been there but i work at the local ministry here and i see this all the time--people having to live in their cars not knowing where to go or what to do--no food and no hope --we try to restore their faith and point them in the right direction helping get them in a shelter and getting them to a temp office that works with us to place them in a job to help get them back on their feet--its in these times your real friends stand out and the fake ones are no where to be found--sad but true

    Yes! That is life...real life. We live in a world where "most people think me first!". Think about how you are going to survive when others turn their backs on you and walk away... not wanting to get involved and help you.

Actually unfortunately I have and it was the worst time of my life. It was a real hard struggle to get back up from hitting that point but I thankfully was able too, I did re-evaluate some of the people in my life afterwards.

All that has happened to me expect having no place to stay. I hope that never happens. I'm sorry if you had to experience all of that.
