Holiday overkill
« on: February 03, 2013, 02:12:06 pm »
It really bugs me to see easter, valentines day, mardis gras stuff all coming out at the same time, not unlike christmas, thanksgiving, halloween, and new years. does this annoy anyone else?

that's a good point too. they have such big "seasonal" sections that regular merchandise gets out of whack, making it more difficult and annoying to shop for everyday items.

I hate when there are 2 or 3 different holiday items for sale at the same time!

It doesn't bother me I just don't do any thing if I don't want to. It's my choice if and which holiday I want to celebrate.  :)

I really wish they would stop shoving holidays down our throats so early.   The only ones that should overlap are Christmas/Chanukkh (sometimes), maybe New Years since it's only a week after Christmas, and Easter/Passover.

Yes, between birthdays, holidays and other special occasions, it seems like "normal" days are becoming the minority... Every time I turn around it's time to send out a birthday card, holiday card, etc... I'm going on strike!
