I'd say jogging out of the two, but I'd rather do calisthenics.

I prefer to walk.

My knees don't like jogging or running.

It seems that time and effort would play a role, as well as an individual's size, in determining the calorie burn.  Walking (briskly not strolling) seems easier on joints that either running of jogging.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't know because I don't do either!  :-  But if you find out which one works better, let me know for when I do decide to start getting into shape!

i think jogging is more effective because you don't get tired as fast as running, which means you'll last longer jogging  :icon_rr:

I think jogging doesn't wear you out as quickly, but you burn way more calories running. In the grand scheme of things, 300 calories isn't that much. Try going the same distance you usually do running instead of jogging and I bet you'll notice a huge difference!

I think running would burn more calories, but jogging/walking is effective as well . . . and a lot easier on the joints.

I prefer walking to both running and jogging - problem with running and jogging (and even walking, to a point) is that it's very high-impact on the joints.
