Has anyone heard of Aquaponics?
The fish are in a bottom tank and some potted seeds grow above.
The two "feed" on each other and you can grow food.

I have never heard of it but it sounds like a very interesting way to raise plants and fish. I guess I will have to search for more information on that subject. I am sure that you have to have this set up where it can get wet, that is not on a carpeted space. An accident with a fish tank on carpet is quite a mess that I have encountered before and not an easy one to clean up. I ended up having to suck dry my carpet with a wet vac and it still smelled funny! I have laminate floors now, so an accident would not be so hard to clean up. You can bet, I will be searching!
