Thanks for reminding me!  I haven't looked at the mini-contests for a while.

For the two mini-contests -- one for Tuesday/Wednesday (Sports) and the 2nd for Saturday/Sunday (anything else):

Go to the Contests and Promotion section of the forum;
at the top of page are two links - one for each contest.
Click on one of the links and you'll arrive at a page that will give you a list of all the past weekly contests -- which are crossed out.  The one at the top that isn't crossed out is the current open contest.

Click on that link and it will take you to the page where the open "survey" link is shown.  Click on that link to fill out the entry form.   Answer all the questions or make your selection of the winners and just follow the directions. 

Your user name should be filled in for you.  Click submit.

If your answers are correct, you'll receive your winnings in a week or two.

This weeks sports contest covers the NBA games -- you don't have to know anything about sports.  Just have to make a selection of the winners (from the choices provided)

The non-sports contest is more fun (Disney Villians this week - last Sat.). 

Each contest generally tells you what the potential winnings are.  I'm always happy when I see something pop up in my account

There are other promotions -- the Forum posting bonus is the big one, but the others are worth reading about too.  Check out the threads in the Contest and Promotions section.

these contests are really fun to do as they change every week and often challenge us to think a little as well which is good for all of us. And I really enjoy seeing others get excited when they have either one or several answers correct, it is all good and everyone seems to enjoy them. I also like to check in and see what the winning answers are. It helps to reassure you if you did participate and perhaps get better at playing them.
