Is anyone else having this problem? I have a gateway/emachine and anytime I go on facebook it tends to lock my computer up. I have to reboot and run all kinds of scans to get back on my computer. Other people that have had this type of computer say they experience similar problems with the same type of computer.

Never heard of such a thing, but the solution is to use Linux instead of Windows I bet. Download a CD image or burn it on a USB stick so it won't interfere with what you have now.

It's just Facebook.  The news feed has so much java on it, I get javascript errors every couple of minutes (using Firefox).  I've written to them about the errors but, you never get a satisfactory reply, that is, if you're lucky enough to GET a reply.  I find the page locks up, too, but I don't have to reboot or anything that elaborate.

I have that problem when I attempt to look at pictures of my friends. I have an older PC with not very much ram installed. I kind of figure that is the problem.!
