pooling (similar to a jackpot)
« on: November 22, 2012, 08:59:32 pm »
I'm not usually one to suggest, but I had a thought.  I would like to see some kind of pool where everyone who contributes gets part of it.  If you complete certain offers something goes into the pool and when it ends (the pool) it could be distributed evenly to who did what, if that makes sense.  This way it wouldn't necessarily have to come out of the pocket of FC but rather the community.

I've been on a few other sites where they did that. I didn't participate too often, but it seemed to be pretty popular. I think it's a good idea. It would get people doing more offers!

Yeah that is a good idea but how will FC get the pool money? will it be deducted to your accumulated cash?

Kinda like a lotto.  Speaking of that, I better go get my Powerball ticket.  I don't normally play, but wow wouldn't this one be cool to win?

you could buy a ticket with a penny you've earned and they can use that money to pay one lucky winner. Jackpot total with vary based on entries....

Yes, I like the penny for a ticket idea.  That's kind of what I was thinking of.  Then they take all our tickets and kind of dig one winner out of it, or do like a first second and third places if it runs for a longer time, or do it when it reaches a certain amount.  This way it is paid for by us and doesnt cost them a thing and only the people who want to enter have to pay for it.  Being adults we know the risks of possibly not winning.
