PLEASE PRAY FOR THOSE IN NEWTOWN CT

THERE WAS A TERRIBLE SHOOTING IN NEWTOWN CT THIS AFTERNOON. 28 TOTAL DIED TODAY- 20 OF THOSE WERE CHILDREN AGES 5 YEARS - 10 YEARS OLD. TO HAVE A TRAGEDY OF THIS MAGNITUDE OCCUR SO CLOSE TO THE HOLIDAYS IS CRUSHING. PLEASE EVERYONE PRAY FOR THE SURVIVORS OF THIS TRAGEDY SO THAT THEY MAY FIND COMFORT NOT ONLY IN THE SUPPORT OF EACH OTHER BUT ALSO SPIRITUALLY. PRAY THAT THEY MAY KNOW THAT THOSE WHO WERE TAKEN FROM THEM TODAY ARE AT PEACE AND IN THE SAFE LOVING WARM EMBRACE OF THE LORD. PLEASE PRAY THAT THE HEARTS OF THESE FAMILIES ARE NOT SO EMBURDENED WITH DISPAIR AND SADNESS THAT THE MESSAGE OF LIFE AND LIGHT AND LOVE OF THE HOLIDAY IS NOT LOST THIS YEAR. THANK YOU ALL FOR HELP

THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN BE SAID FOR WHAT HAS HAPPENED IN CONNECTICUT TODAY. I AM HAPPY THAT I LIVE IN CANADA BUT HERE AT TIMES WE SUFFER THE SAME. THIS WORLD IS MADE UP OF ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE GOOD AND BAD AND WE LIVE WITHOUT ANSWERS. PEOPLE COME AND GO BUT TO BE TAKEN AWAY IN A TRAGEDY LIKE THIS, AROUND THE HOLIDAYS AND FR MOST OF THEM TO JUST BE LITTLE KIDS IS JUST HORRIBLE. PRAYERS GO OUT TO THE FAMILIES THAT LOST SOMEONE AND TO THE FAMILIES THAT WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE NOT LOST A LOVED ONE BUT STILL BE INVOLVED IN THIS UNBELIEVABLE ACT.

I have two nieces aged 4 & 5,  and I keep seeing their faces as I watch and read the unfolding story of this event.  It is so terribly sad--sad enough at any other time of year but especially so now.

It was such a sad thing to happen in our beautiful country.  Nobody can even imagine the torment those families are going through. I did pray the minute I heard to comfort and strengthen those families affected by this tragedy.
