Lack.... i had my first attack back in Aug 2011......worst pain i the world.I tried to watch my diet a bit....in July 2012 has another bad attack and had surgery.

Of all the pains i ever had in my life i would say gallbladder was the worst.

Its been 3 months now and i seem to be able to eat foods i was afraid to eat again.....like Dunkin Donuts....LOL!!

Not me but my mother has.  She suffered from gallbladder attacks for years and went ahead with the surgery before her insurance ran out from the passing of my father.  She was in her 50's.  In her late 50's she found out she had celiacs disease. So her entire life what she was eating was destroying her small intestine.  For her having the gall bladder moved didn't make much difference about what she could and couldn't eat after all.

I had my gallbladder removed in 2004. It was the worse pain I ever had in my life. I rather have a baby than have another gallstone attack. 5 years later I had gallstones again. The first surgery was a breeze. The second one was terrible. I had to have my stomach cut about 7 inches long. After the surgery I had staples, interior stitches, and 2 tubes running from the inside of my stomach to the outside. One tube was for draining blood internally, the second tube was for to expand my bowel duct. The stones destroyed my small intestines and my large intestines. They had to remove 2 inches of my small intestines and 1 inch of my large intestine. I was hospitalized for 10 days, the worse ten days of life with terrible pains. I still have pain in my gallbladder area sometimes.

I had mine removed in 07, I never had pain so didn't know it had turned bad, But i couldn't stand the small or taste of food for months. Had real high fevers, went into the hospital in a small town and since i loseing weight and all my blood test were comming back off the charts they said i had cancer and wanted to start treatment right away. Well i called hubby and said coem and get me, walked out of that hospital and went to large town to a specialest and he slap my tail in the hospital on a monday and started me on a meal in a bag for 5 days and yank that suscker out, and did explorter
surgery and i didn't have cancer. But it was sludge in my gallbaldder. Messed me up pretty good. But here i am still going and for the most part can eat anything i want. Thanks to God and a good surgen.
