Forum Login
« on: October 22, 2012, 11:16:44 am »
 :) Hi everyone,
I use Firefox for my internet browser. I can't log into the Forum with Firefox and therefore have to switch to IE to post.
I have cleared the cookies and history in FF but still it will show me as a guest in Firefox and when I click on "Login" it does nothing.
Help Please.

That is really weird because I have never had to log into the forum the entire time I have been on here. When I log into Fusion Cash it automatically logs me into the forum and it has never done anything else. Did you try clearing your cache also? That way all the old pages will be removed. Maybe it's getting stuck on one of those old pages. Then, log into Fusion Cash again and hopefully you will be logged into the forum too.  :dontknow:

I agree with Kingrayam24.  I don't have to relogin in get into the Forum.  Clicking on the Forum link at the top of the page brings me straight into the Forum.

I usually use IE with FC because I have had problems with FireFox getting credit for some videos.  (Haven't gone back and tried recently, since IE is working fine for FC at the moment.)

I did try my Firefox browser, just now, to see if I had a problem getting into the Forum with it.  No problem.  Logged into FC and got into the Forum just by clicking on the Forum link.

When you clear your cookies/temps are you using the Tools link on the browser?  My impression is that it does a okay job, but not necessarily a complete job.

I use CCleaner.  It clears the temps/cookies for all of the browsers on my pc (I use 3).  I'm always amazed at how much accumulates in just a couple of days.  If that doesn't do the job in straightening out my PC response, I shut down my computer and start again.

Sometime the act of turning off you computer straightens out some misalighmenets in the system and things are usually better after rebooting.

If it works properly for you in IE, then shift to IE for FC.
(I have IE as my primary browser in the system so that my emails come in via IE -- particularly the FC paid email.)  I use Firefox for just about everything else and can have them both running at the same time.

Thanks for the advice. I have tried clearing cookies and everything including rebooting. Still no luck. Go figure. Does Windows XP have a tool that will clear out the temporary internet files and cookies?
