iPhone or Samsung galaxy

I've had both the iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy, and I prefer the Samsung Galaxy.

   I don't have either an iPhone or Samsung galaxy, but my older brother has a Samsung galaxy and its really great! so I'd buy that 1

I love me some Samgung. Truth to be told, I understand why there is so much iPhone fans out there, it is exactly because most of them are the target market. Ladies and Teens which like a simple, single touch for everything, fashionable, easy to use, non-customizable, uncomplicated graphical user interface, and ONLY the necessary technology for most of your needs. Geeks and persons who like challenges and don't like restrictions, like to customize and know all the ins and outs of their phone to get the most out of them, with the latest technology and trends, usually tend to like the Android phones. I just happen to be one of the latter.

There is no substitute, the iPhone winds hands down. The original. There is no phone better. APPLE all the way!!!

I believe both are quality products, but I think the Apple products are a bit overpriced - like paying extra for designer jeans that are basically no different than non-designer, that you are just paying for the branding.

I recently got the Samsung GS3 and really like it.  I chose Galaxy over iPhone mainly due to the operating system and for the swappable parts - particularly the battery.  I have several friends who got Apple products that had battery issues and had to send their whole unit in for repair, where with Samsung, just buy a replacement battery and swap it out if it goes bad.

I really wanted Android as I want to teach myself to develop apps for mobile phone, and the open source Android is the way for me.  Apple development costs way too much for someone just learning app development as a hobby, not career.  Plus like devilroljin state above, I really like how you can customize Android, where I read Apple products are less customizable.

I love my iPhone, but I do hate that Apple doesn't offer expandable storage.  I mean, can you make it more obvious that you are just out for money? lol  But as far as the phone itself goes, I love it.  I haven't tried the galaxy, but my last (not smart) phone was a Samsung and it was a very high quality phone.  I drop things a lot and it held up awesome and I never had an problems with it.

I've never had a galaxy but the commercials for it sure are interesting.  I've had my Iphone for little over 2 years and I love it.  Its the 3GS and I'm hoping to upgrade to a 4GS in Dec. as I've about maxed my 3 out.  I love playing games on my phone but an ipad would make that even more fun.  lol
