Recipe for Cucumber Pasta Salad

Ingredients
1 box spiral pasta cooked, drained and cooled
1 lg. cucumber, cut in chunks
1 onion, cut in chunks
1 1/2 c. vinegar
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. salt

Directions
Cut cucumber with peel, and onion in chunks and put in blender. Add rest of ingredients and blend. Pour over cooked pasta and let sit for 12 hours in refrigerator before serving.

   while I am not a huge fan of cucumbers, I have to admit it this Recipe for Cucumber Pasta Salad does sound pretty good

This recipe is unusual. Is the onion cucumber the  dressing? I am a little confused. Why does the the salad have to be refrigerated for twelve hours? I don't understand the reason. I'll try it and see what it tastes like and report back if I like it.

My family has a similar recipe. We add diced tomatoes, bacon and olives in ours.

This sounds kindof like spagettie salad. Have you tried adding salad suprem spice? It really makes it good. When you leave it in the fridge for a couple days the flavors set in and it is really good. Do you know any recipees for zuccinie bread?

this sounds great, i love trying new recipes thanks , i made my own recipe book, when i try them i write if i liked them or not. there are so many recipes on the computer and when i find one that looks good i print it out for my book, then the next time im bored i just flip through pick one out try it and either have it again or wish i hadnt had it this time lol

The longer the flavor (vinegar, sugar, salt) marinade overnight, the stronger the taste kicks in. This is especially true with acidic ingredients like vinegar. I prefer to have my salad consumed on the same day.
