okay falcon9 its time have a to i have had it with you berating everything religous.
You're welcome to your opinion however, I will choose to oppose superstitious religious beliefs on both moral and logical grounds whether or not anyone characterizes it as "berating", (or, whether they've "had it" or not).
normally i approve your use of logic and pointing out but lately you just attacking people personally.
Speaking of which, this thread you've started is a calling-out thread which is prohibited by FC. Doubtless you'll soon discover this for yourself.
I understand are after you to and they need to stop .But I am starting to wonder....now you seem to want to destroy a basic human apsect and desire that is to find, explore and believe in something greater than ones self.just leave people alone thier faith is not hurting you it doesnt effect your life .
Your assumptions are not accurate in at least two respects. One; religious superstitions and self-deceptions are not a "basic human aspect. History has shown that such is a hinderance and worse to humanity, (the Inquisitions, the Crusades, the witch hunts - all instigated by "true believer" xtian fundies). The problem is not that people delude themselves with blind faith but, that they attempt to impose such blindness on others via proselytizing, propagandizing, 'witnessing' or, at the point of a sword/barrel of a gun. If such religious zealots would keep their superstitions to themselves, what would there be to oppose? Tragically, they cannot and insist upon trying to 'infect' others with their religious 'mind virii' and that's what I, (and others), oppose because of what such has lead to before.
... they way you attack religous people ...
Just as some of those "religious people" you're referring to seem to confuse opposition to their religious
beliefs with "attacks" on
themselves, (the two are not equivalent nor, interchangeable since a person is not their "beliefs"), so too are you invalidly conflating two separate things.
what did a religous person or organization do to you that makes want to attack them so much.your so passionate about this its seems like personal mission and you dont have the passion about other subjects. So my question is what is the story here I just want some context aS to why your like this.Again I have no problem with you I just want to know what the end game.
I've always opposed any religious superstitious belief system which has an established history of being directly responsible for those attrocities previously mentioned. As much as some religious zealots would like to characterize themselves as the 'victims' of non-believers, "infidels", 'blasphemers' or "pagans", the documented historical facts are that these religious zealots commited the majority of such 'victimizations' on others. What I oppose is that sort of thing ever happening again by challenging the root cause.
