Maybe it's not really being "REMOVED" (completely).

If you don't have MalwareBytes Anti-malware (free), you should get it and run it.

Seriously.....everyone swears by this program.

(What a really great free program MalwareBytes is... nice to know you can get help like this for free)

For about 5 months I was getting a lot of trojan viruses blocked. But it turned out I also had a trojan hacker so someone was getting into all of my accounts and was also corroding my laptop's hardware. It was really scary. I apparently had this hacker for about 5 months and at any time this person could have stolen my money or identity or killed my computer and printer (which is wireless). I had to have a specialist remove the hacker from my computer which cost me 200 bucks! It took the person 45 minutes to remove it. It was pretty awful. The only indications that something was wrong with my computer and printer were that my task manager would always say my cpu usage was 100% most of the time and that my pictures from my printer started coming out pink. I was extremely shocked to find out from customer service that I had a hacker. :(

I was on my pc monday night when i received a email from american airlines saying i needed to print out my ticket for my flight on oct 22 2012 i opened not thinking it was bad and bingo the whole pc went crazy luckily i had a laptop handy and put in the virus box that was popping up System Progressive Protection--it was the source o the problem!!! luckily there was a quick fix!!! Spyhunter removes all viruses and keeps them from taking over your pc!! i am so thankful i found it beats having to pay major money to have it fixed!

I use Firefox as my browser, even when doing Fusion Cash.  There have been MANY sites that Firefox has thankfully blocked, and yes, I agree with the original poster - there's LOTS of trojans going around because my AVAST! has blocked a snot load of 'em just today.

95% of trojans, spyware, winrar and viruses are through downloads..I DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING, NO MATTER HOWS ENTICING THE OFFER IS.   is the 1 or 2 you get, worth ruining your pc beyond repair?  i dont know about you guys, but i cant afford to buy a new computer every year.

I know internet explorer 8 is having problems right now with security, they have been trying to fix it, don't know if they have found a permanent fix yet, but at least mcafee caught it. Got to be careful right now, alerts are up.

So true, MalwareBytes is the best anti-malware I've ever had.

When I first saw the title I was thinking of an accessory and not a computer virus. I haven't had an issue recently, but they're definitely no fun. There are cases, however, when the antivirus is too sensitive and blocks a function in an application instead that's actually legitimate. I get this issue now and then.

Thank goodness for free anti-virus programs.  I won't mention any names because I don't wanna violate any rules, but I have a very good program that works great and automatically quarantines any bad website or file viruses.

When I seen the name Trojan on list. My goodness I was thinking omg someone is speaking of the sexual pleasure things trojan has out. LOL where is my mind. HeHe anyways yeah they can be a bummer once they get into your system. I have had this problem before and sometimes they are a headache to get rid of.

No, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is something you want to have (and run scans with it regularly) IN ADDITION to an anti-virus program.
I sometimes can't believe how highly-regarded this actually is, and by just about everyone, considering it's free.
(NOTE: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware DOES also have a paid subscription version)

There ARE some good free anti-virus programs out there, too-
*Avira is one -
*Avast is another -

I haven't used Avast, but I know a lot of people do, and really like it.

I have used Avira......I was pretty impressed with it, good performance (IMO) for a free anti-virus program.
And it has a pretty friendly UI, so all in all I liked it.

Again, as with Avast, many people use Avira, and really like it too.

How come it won't play?
