Worst financial month

  Did anyone else have a bad financial month?   It could have been worse I guess but I felt like I was crawling across the dessert on my hands and knees financially (ok it made sense to me lol) since the middle of the month.  I missed fusion cash payout last month or that would have helped alot.  However, I did get a few dollars here and there from other sites or I would have never made it.  Well, I get a little retirement check Friday - hope if anyone else had a super bad $$ month theirs is coming to an end also.  Best of luck to all members

Yeah I lost my job a couple months ago, and the savings is starting to run out, so I'd say it's a pretty bad month for me also.

Yes, have been out of work for a while.  It seems to be compounding every month.  I am hoping to get one of the retail jobs they say are going to be extra this year, because some people are actually turning around financially.   HOPE SO!

I am sorry to hear that you had a bad month-financially.  I hope that you were blessed with happiness, health, friends and so many of God's other blessings.  Money isn't everything...but it does help grease the wheels. I actually had a good financial month but it came from a lot of hard work and sacrifice.  I didn't see my family as much and didn't relax too much.  Seemed like I was on a perpetual treadmill with no way of getting off.  This is the first break that I have had all week and there is no one from my family around to enjoy it with!

Couple years ago i lost my job, all my saving just ran out. Hope sometime next things get a lot better.

Yea am finaly getting a fumeral paid off, Had to replace a hot water heater, paid off a hospital bill. Things will be turning around now. Also has cooled off and no high electric bill and watering bill.   Hubby is a sub. teacher and has gone back to work.

A lot of major retailers are going to hire for the holidays in the next couple of weeks, so it'll be good for the next couple of months.

To me every month is tough but my husband and I live off of his $698 (starting in October) which is an extra $33 more than we are use to. So maybe it wont be to bad.  There is three of us in the house (third person is my brother in law) and my husband has support the house hold the last 8 months so I guess we did great supporting three people.  His brother has money comming in but doesn't help out.  My husband told him he has to leave on the first, so I guess we will see.  He get the same amount of money so I dont see why he can't rent his own place.  He says he going to live under a bridge since he has to leave here but he has had 4 months to find his own place and he wasn't doing anything to find his own place.  He should think of himself lucky because I have been fighting for my disabilit for 10 years and still have not got it.  I applied for him in March and he got approved from March 2012 to three years from now so he didn't even have to go before a judge or anything I went before 3 judges and still fighting with a lawyer and still nothing for me.

I agree I took some days off without pay to make sure my little one had a good first week at school and that week killed me. I work in retail part time and my hours were not very good this month so that sucks. I also didn't have a very good month on FC I have been trying to earn $1 a day and really fell behind on my goals. I hope next month will be a lot better.

Reading all the other posts on here helps me put things in perspective.  Yes, I do sometimes struggle financially and times can be tough, but I do have a full time job that does make ends meet (although there's nothing leftover for savings).  I wish all of you out there the best and hope your finances turn around.  Thank goodness for FC to bring in a little extra each month.

September turned out to be a bit of a challenge as I had a math error (my fault) in the check book. I'm getting there. Hubby is starting overtime again in October, so things should look up a bit.
